As the March 23, 2018 launch date for Pacific Rim: Uprising nears, more and more Jaeger units are being unveiled. At New York Comic Con, Bandai Tamashii Nations gave fans a look at several new figures in their line, including a first look at one of the monsters (pictured above in a stunning diorama display)!
As originally revealed at San Diego Comic Con, Bandai will be releasing a variety of new Jaegers from the film as affordable Robot Spirits action figures. Priced at $29.99 each, mechs included the new and improved Gypsy Avenger, Saber Athena, Guardian Bravo, Bracer Phoenix, and Titan Redeemer. A new Jaeger on display at NYCC was the Obsidian Fury, an all black mech with orange blades – looking like an amped up Gypsy Avenger.
In addition to the Robot Spirits series, a high-end Gypsy Danger will see release as a die-cast Chogokin. Also be on the look out for a series a model kits, which are sure to be a hit with the Gunpla crowd.
