New York Comic Con 2017 coverage brought to you by Eaglemoss Collections.
Storm Collectibles is all about fighting figures. Their initial offerings included everything from boxing legends Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson, ringside hero Hulk Hogan, and pixel-shredding characters from Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat.
Showcasing at Bluefin’s New York Comic Con booth – their North American distributor – Storm Collectibles showcased these great figures and more. Expanding on their 1/6th scale Hulk Hogan and Mike Tyson collectibles, Storm will be releasing the fighters in their smaller 1/12 scale. Approximately 7-inches and full articulated, these figures have a release date and pricing still to be determined.
Storm’s new Mortal Kombat figures, previously revealed at San Diego Comic Con, were also on display. These included the wrist-bladed Baraka, deadly fan slashing Kitana, dragon-morphing Liu Kang and a new MKX Kombatant Scorpion.
Joining the Street Fighter series will be a SFV version of Chun-Li.
Most exciting was the univeiling of numerous new fighting game licenses. These included Rugal from King of Fighters ’98 Ultimate Match and Haihatchi from Tekken 7.
