Add another cyborg ninja to Storm Collectibles’ growing Mortal Kombat figure ranks! Presenting Sektor, unit LK-9T9, the crimson Kombatant with a chest full of rockets and a vice ready to slice and dice!

The son of the Grand Master, it was never in question that Sektor would join the Lin Kuei. What pleases the Grand Master is the degree to which his son relishes the life of an assassin. The secretive clan allows Sektor to express his darker nature, using any means necessary to completes his tasks. Hired by Shang Tsung, his current assignment is to attend the Mortal Kombat tournament and eliminate Earthrealm competitors. Though this mission will put his clan in good standing with Shao Kahn, Sektor’s ultimate goal is to supplant his father as Grand Master of the Lin Kuei.

I always love all the effects parts they include with their figures. They really take it up that extra notch.

Storm’s Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter are currently two of my favorite lines.

I really want more sexy females like Jade and Kitana and Sindel and even Sheeva made too. But so far Storm seems to make the male characters well, but their females look… I dunno. Their thighs are WAY too thick and their shoulders look like men. — Come on, make the females more curvy and sexy, Storm!

Oh, and I would love a nice big Motaro fig too!

Motaro would be sweet. although, I would like to see Kintaro released first. I say, if they’re going to do the classic MK characters, then go all the way. which is why I say they should also do figures based on both Chameleon & Tremor.

one cool thing they could do as a two pack is the background characters from MKII: Hornbuckle & Blaze.

the other thing I’d love to see as an accessory is figure scale arcade machines. that way, you can have your toy Scorpion & Sub-Zero fighting each other in an MK arcade.

Yeah, there actually is a company called Namco that’s making 1/12 scale arcade machines (check out Figures.com sponsor BigBadToystore for these!) but so far their line only includes the games Tank Battalion, Pac-Man, Galaga, Galaxian, and Rally-X, no MK.

    Oh, must have Mileena too.

And for the females, I think the Mortal Kombat 9 costume designs are the best. I hope they’ll make them look like that.

And why isn’t there more Mortal Kombat swag?

I want a nice big Mortal Kombat dragon symbol (like the poster for the movie) to put right behind my Shao Khan on throne or something like that.

    — Come on, statue-makers!

finally, some MK3 figures based on the cyborgs. I’ve been waiting for a proper Cyber Smoke figure since 1995.

you know what else would be a great addition to the Storm Collectibles fighting game family? Killer Instinct. a line of Storm Collectibles Classic Killer Instinct figures would be sweet. especially if you have a shelf with Ryu, Scorpion, & Fulgore standing next to each other. ^-^

I’d like a Storm version of Mai Shiranui from King of Fighters — but only if she doesn’t end up looking like a dude!

the only downside is that Storm Collectibles will probably never finish the entire ninja roster. I was kind of hoping they would cover all the ninjas since the only ones left were both Chameleon & Tremor, then it would actually be an officially released complete collection of every single ninja in the MK series.
