I am in need of help finding figures that are 7" tall. Also, the figures must have articulation to allow them to be set in the sitting position, as if in a chair. So, could someone please list the figures that fit my requirements?

Figma makes 6" figures. They seem very articulate if you get one that doesn't have a lot of rubbery clothing attachments. They produced a male and a female Archetype that were just plain clear bodies. I'd love to find these myself but they're rare now. Other Figmas can be found but they generally float around $100.
I found a Sakura Hime for $30usd total on ebay. I got her because she doesn't have a lot of rubbery clothing in the way of her articulation and I want to see how well she poses.
Here is a link to the Archetype female and a blog of her posing abilities.

Good luck finding what you need.

Marvel Legends are between 6" and 7". Same With DC figures. Not the direct ones though.

The most articulated 7 inch figures that I have come across with normal body shapes (no crazy muscles or anything) are Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian deluxe figures. They stand 7 inches and have over 30 points of articulation. They are somewhat hard to find as they were made a few years back. More recently, NECA's Ninja Gaidan figures had similar points of articulation and were that size.
