Hair Dryer Not Included...

NECA's 24″ Head-to-Tail Godzilla action figure has hit retail, and while fans are pleased, NECA has heard that some people are having difficulty putting the tail onto the body. To answer this concern, NECA has released some helpful instructions to make assembling "The King of Monsters" easier (Higher-resolution copy is located HERE).

The heat won't hurt the chip?

I'm still at a total loss as to why the chip was placed in the tail but I'm sure there was some sort of good reason? Seams like an obvious weak point structurally for such a delicate object.

The chip is in the body. You heat the tail section's hole so it will soften and plug onto the peg easier. There's nothing in the tail section.

I'm familiar with the hair dryer method, definitely. Total must for collectors.

There was a YouTube review that said he gripped the tail to hard and broke the sound chip because, he claimed, it was in there and then sent it back to NECA for a replacement. Glad to hear its actually in the body, that makes MUCH more sense lol.

Yeah, ShartimusPrime.

It's in the tail nub that attaches to the body. See pic below. That person must have grabbed the nub too hard when trying to place the tail section on and damaged the button that activates the sound. Softening the tail section's hole should make it easier to place on the nub.
