The Force was strong with Hasbro at their New York Comic Con press event tonight. The company unveiled new 6" Black Series figures in the form of First Order TIE Fighter Pilot, General Hux, First Order Snowtrooper Officer, Resistance Trooper, Captain Phasma, X-Wing Pilot Asty, and the big surprise, Force Awakens Han Solo. Rey was also on display, Hasbro stating that this re-release will feature more defined deco. Speaking of re-releases, those that have foudn these figures hard to get, fear not. Hasbro admitted to a manufacturing problem, thus the shortage on this series, but promises to have it rectified by the holidays. Expect all Series 1 figures to reappear on shelves, along with series 2 hitting retail now. See our story HERE for more 6" Black Series details.

Another new Star Wars item on display were new Titanium Helmets. These approximately 1:6th scale replicas will be made of die-cast metal and will be sold as 2-packs priced at around $14.99. A new 12-inch scale BB-8 action figure was also shown for release this Spring, the rolly polly droid revealing two arm accessories that can be plugged onto the figure (similar to R2-D2 and all his gadgets).

Transformers included a cool new Galvatron with crown activating feature and a new wave of 6" Marvel Legends, including Taskmaster, Captain America, Axis Red Skull Onslaught, Mockingbird, Sharon Carton (Agent 13), Whirlwind, Rogue, Cottonmouth, and Crossbones.
