Mondo Prepares First Toy Release: LIL MIKEY

Back in July, Mondo broke the news that they would be entering the collectibles scene with a variety licensed product including Iron Giant, Hitchcock, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (see our story HERE). We followed up with an exclusive interview with Mondo's CEO Justin Ishmael at San Diego Comic-Con (HERE) and since then things have been rather quite. That's because Mondo has been busy prepping their first release: Lil Mikey.

Based on artist Mike Mitchell's series, Just Like Us, Lil Mikey is a direct translation of his take on Michelangelo. Featuring an articulated head, and accurate TMNT ice cream on a popsicle stick. Made of vinyl, Lil Mikey stands approximately 9 inches tall. The Lil Mikey figure is available for pre-order now through mondotees.com priced at $105 (which includes free worldwide shipping).
