More Heroes From Greg Capullo & Awesome Harleys By Amanda Conner...
The Designer Series from DC Collectibles is one of the coolest things they’ve done in recent years, and that’s saying something considering all of the great new figures and statues. At New York Toy Fair 2016 DC showed off two new series of Designer figures from two fantastic artists. First, the Greg Capullo series continues with the latest assortment of Wonder Woman, Joker, the Flash, and Survival Batman in the Fall. Then comes the lineup shown for the first time at Toy Fair with unique renditions of Aquaman with trident, Superman, Green Lantern Hal Jordan with Power Battery, and an epic two pack of Jim Gordon Batman and the Robo Batman suit with swap out parts to display it complete or open and revealing Gordon inside! All of those figures will be $28 each except the two-pack which will be $50.
There’s a new Designer Series on the block, and it’s doing something a bit different. Amanda Conner’s art is incredibly iconic, and of late it’s really revolutionized the character of Harley Quinn. And that’s exactly what you’ll be seeing in Conner’s Designer Series, multiple versions of Quinn in different costumes/incarnations! There’s the Classic with pistol and beaver pal, Retro Rocket with space gun and evil space pizza, Super Hero with alternate chibi head, and Holiday with mallet and gift-wrapped bomb. Plus, DC Collectibles is working on potential additional fun elements in these figures’ fun accessories like a water piping system for the chibi head, a squeaker for the mallet, and more. You’ll be able to get your hands on these Harleys in the Fall for $28 each.
