Project Fully Funded! Stretch Goals Unlocked...
As previously reported HERE, sculptor David Silva had launched a Kickstarter-backed project called Beasts of the Mesozoic, a line of 1/6th scale scientifically accurate Raptor dinosaur action figures with great detail and articulation. We're happy to report that Beasts of the Mesozoic has met its $125,000 goal and is now fully funded. What that means is that everyone that pledges at least $35 (or $100 for all three) will receive a Raptor action figure when the figures are completed. Raptors available include Velociraptor mongoliensis (swift thief), Atrociraptor mashalli (savage plunderer), and Tsaagan mangas (white monster), along with the Kickstarter exclusive add-on Velociraptor osmolskae.
It also means that the more money the Beasts of the Mesozoic project receives past its goal, the more Stretch Goal figures are unlocked! Currently three Stretch Goal figures have been made available: Saurornitholestes sullivani (lizard-bird thief), Balaur bondoc (stocky dragon), and Adasaurus mongoliensis (Ada's demon lizard). The momentum for this project is only growing, and with 15 more days to go, the Stretch Goal possibilities are endless.
