As previously reported, 2K Games had announced that BioShock 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2007 Game of the Year, will be available worldwide beginning February 9, 2010. To mark the return of this popular video game title, NECA will be releasing a complete series of collectible 7-inch scale action figures based on BioShock 2's rich character designs.

A drill-armed Big Daddy Bouncer (pictured above) will first see release this November as a special preview figure to tide fans over until the full series launch early next year. This is the "biggest and heaviest figure" NECA has ever produced in the 7” format. Big Daddy will also include ample articulation to better navigate his way through the corridors of the underwater city Rapture, including:

* Ball Jointed Shoulders

* Ball Jointed Thighs

* Ball Hinged Elbows

* Ball Hinged Wrists

* Ball Hinged Knees

* Ball Hinged Ankles

* Rotating Drill

Images of the Big Daddy Bouncer's packaging will be available soon.

Slated for release in February 2010 to coincide with the new game's release, the first full assortment of BioShock action figures will include:

* Big Sister and Little Sister 2-Pack

* Big Daddy (Player)

These cool characters will be followed by another assortment in Spring 2010 to include:

* Big Daddy (Rosie)

* Ladysmith Splicer
