Free Shrunken TARDIS Accessory With Early Pre-Orders...

BIG Chief Studios announce that priority pre-orders for their 12th Doctor 1:6 Scale Collector Figure will commence from 6 pm (UK time) next Friday, the twelfth day of the twelfth month. The figure is priced at £169.99 (approximately $265 US).

Those that pre-order the 12th Doctor 1:6 Scale Collector Figure through bigchiefstudios.co.uk (via payment plan or paid in full) will receive a FREE Shrunken TARDIS accessory, as seen in the series 8 episode “Flatline”. The accessory features openning doors and can be fitted with any of the interchangeable hands that come with the Doctor.

Peter Capaldi’s portrayal of the Time Lord has earned praise from critics and fans alike, with darker and more serious characteristics, not forgetting those eyebrows. The 1:6 Scale Collector Figure sports the Doctor’s tailored costune, comes with numerous accessories and a light-up display base to compliment Big Chief's previous releases.


At this time discussions are still underway for an official Signature Edition. However, Big Chief appreciate that many of their customers are eager to add a signed 12th Doctor figure to their collection. Given that customers would not want to first pre-order the Limited Edition figure, only then to have to place a second pre-order for the Signature Edition figure at a later date, Big Chief are planning on offering an Upgrade Pack for those interested in the signed figure.

The Signature Edition Upgrade Pack will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, with the pre-order going live on a date that they would announce in the coming months. To be eligible for the pre-order, you will first need to have placed a pre-order for the Limited Edition figure between the dates of December 12, 2014 to February 28, 2015.

There is unfortunately no guarantee that Big Chief will be able to offer a Signature Edition, as this is not always possible, but negotitations continue and they will keep customers informed as to their progress.
