Cthulhu, Blues Brothers, Matrix, More...

Spanish toy maker SD Toys attended New York Comic Con for the second year, showing off their many licenses in a variety of collectible formats. Traditional figures were represented by The Godfather (read our review HERE) and Big Bang Theory (review HERE), along with upcoming figures of Jake and Elwood Blues from the cult classic comedy The Blues Brothers. A creative new figure format called Pixels (review HERE) were also shown, SD Toy's Big Bang Theory Pixels being offered for sale and new upcoming licenses were displayed, such as The Matrix and The Warriors.

Cthulhu will also be receiving some collectible love, with new items including a real metal bell and figure (first previewed HERE), along a very nice looking collectible Chthulhu hour glass and stress dolls. Speaking of stress dolls, SD Toys also has the license for DC Comics and Gremlins!

In hobby news, the popularity of metal model kits will receive some help from DC Comics when SD Toys releases a variety of Batman's Batmobiles onto the market. Look for them in two distinct sizes; a more traditional 4-inch model and an easier-to-build (a visually more pleasing) 10-inch Batmobile kit.
