Fans of the ongoing video game series Metal Gear Solid will be excited to know Konami is working with collectibles manufacture Square Enix to create a line of figures based on the forthcoming PSP game Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, which puts players back in the boots of Naked Snake (aka Big Boss).

While few specifics are known about the figures, what is known is the five pieces currently planned will be a part of the Square Enix Play Arts Kai line, will feature a generous amount of articulation, and will include various game-accurate accessories.

While release dates and prices are still to be determined, it's estimated the first figure in the series - Sneaking Suit Naked Snake - will hit shelves as early as June.

The new Square-Enix Kai figures are around 9 inches tall. Much bigger than their previous figs. This size increase also explians the price hike - Kai's run around $38 each.
